THEN... Poor Cameron got car stick 3 times in the back of the van. lol. And poor Nikolas had to sit next to it all the way back home.
So after we cleaned Cameron up, the car up and the car seat up, we decided to still have an adventure and when to the CMPL! and McDonald's for lunch. The kids had a great time and didn't even notice we didn't go where we were supposed too.
What a sad experience. Jonah used to get car sick really bad. I couldn't even go through the drive-thru pharmacy a mile from my house when we were in WA (He was 1-2.5) because he would get sick just driving up there and waiting in line. It was awful. I got REALLY good at knowing when it was coming though and could often pull over and get a bag in front of him as long as I wasn't on the interstate. He has MOSTLY outgrown it. We only seem to still have trouble when we go to WV as the roads are VERY curvy. Or if he reads/plays a game/watches a movie in the car. Makes for very long road trips, which we do often :( And we still monitor his food intake when driving long distances.
