The little monkey speaks! Carter's official 1st word is dad-da! I'm so MAD! ; ). I thought I heard him saying this the other day but I thought no he's too little. But then I heard it again, and again. So it's official! Now the question is does he really know what he's saying, I like to think not!

Baby's 1st Christmas!

Well this was Carter's 1st Christmas and a perfect one for him. He's really turning into the funniest little baby. He LOVES to explore and venture into corners, under tables and chairs, and find cords (to chew on) . I'm really blessed to have him. Have I mentioned how CUTE he is? Happy Birthday Jesus!

Our Christmas was wonderful and of course the boys got too much stuff! I told Nana and Grandma that next year they can both come over Christmas morning and "Santa" can skip our house. Present OVER LOAD! Toys and cloths galore! But the true meaning of Christmas is Jesus birth and we have made a tradition of making a cake and singing Happy Birthday to Him.

I'm back.....

So Nikolas was sick with the stomach flu , which was not fun and thankfully no one has gotten it.

I have been so busy "baking", which btw I need to stop saying and change the word to working, cause that what it is. I was also hired to do all the executive gifts for a company in which I had very short notice. So needless to say I have been neglecting you. Sorry!

Playdate!

We went to a play date today it was a Christmas Craft Play date, there were lots of moms and kids. Nikolas and Carter had a great time. I did too. But boy, oh boy am I glad to be sitting in a quite house right now.

Do you ever feel like crying?

I DO!!!!!!!!! I have so much to be Thankful for, God, Frank, Nikolas, Carter, my family, friends but I feel like I want so much more and I'm wondering if this is wrong? I'm happy and really there is no place I'd rather be (I think that's a country song) but I just want more? I want to be closer to God, closer with husband and well the kids not so much! lol! But I just feel sad and want to scream out, I can't be the only one to feel this way- am I? I HATE my father and I know this is cause of him. I need to forgive him but really, I'm not sure I'm ready to let go.

I always allow others to do this to me. WHY??????

Krafty Kids!

The MEN went to the football game yesterday (YAY!!!! For the Bucs!) and the little ladies stayed home and did crafts with the kids. I made spaghetti and we did two Thanksgiving crafts. One was a turkey hand and the other was a paper plate painted turkey. The Kids had a great time. Carter missed out, he was sleeping but the other works of Art belong to Nikolas (3) , Cameron (3) , Kylie (14 months) and Brandon (10)!

So, in May I joined this mommy's meet up group called Macomb Moms, it's a group of moms and kids and we do all sorts of things, parks, library, museums, play dates , anything you can think of for mommys and kids. Well about once a month we have a MNO (Mom's Night Out) Just us girls we just had one and here's a couple of picture. (There are over 100 moms, this is just a few of us)

Well Frank went hunting this past weekend and didn't get a deer. He said he saw a few but really had no good shots and the one shot he had was a doe but wasn't too sure so didn't want to risk it. I do have to say I did really miss him this past weekend. I only got to talk to him for a few minutes and texted only a couple of times.

I did have a very productive weekend, Aunt Lisa (Frank's Sister) came and stayed with us. Friday I painted my ceramic pieces a little more. I need to have those DONE!!!! Saturday I hosted my first play date and it was a success! I had 4 moms and about 10 kids here and yes my house was trashed but my boys and the other kids had a great time so that's all that really matters. Then Saturday night Kenny (Angies husband) from across the street so kindly volunteered to watch ALL 6 kids so Angie, Me and Lisa could go out to Bar Louie. We had a GREAT time, we play "what his story's" We would pick a guy or girl out at the bar and make up a story about him/her and I have to say I bet we were right on about 90% of them. We also discovered that it might be a underground gay bar, as there were lots of guys in pairs, and most guys travel in packs. Not sure yet though and we will be returning very soon. If you haven't been I suggest you check it out.

PROGRESS REPORT!

Well Frank and I went to 1 of many, many more to come school conferences today. Nikolas is really doing great. He got mostly "B's" which means he "B"egining to show improvement and a few "P's" which mean Progressing. His teacher again told us that he is the most well groomed child in school and she looks forward to seeing what he's wearing everyday. He has a little buddy named Doyle and I guess they do EVERYTHING together. She is only concerned about how shy he his, however if she saw him right now she might think differently. (Him and his other buddy Cameron are playing cars and watching Kung Fu Panda). All in all it was a GREAT, 1st conference. Now, lets pray that for the next 18 year they are all like this!

Halloween

I LOVE Halloween and I know now that I passed it on to Nikolas. He LOVED it and was not afraid of anything. This morning he asked if we can go again tonight!!!! SO CUTE!!!! It's amazing to me to think that last year I had only 1 baby (Nikolas) and he didn't talk, I never even heard Mommy. 1 year later after lots of hard work and the very dedicated teachers at the MISD, I have a talking 3 year old, which is music to my ears. I also have another baby, (Carter) who was only a pea sized fetus and again I'm amazed 1 year later I have a little money man, that sits up and crawls. Thank you Jesus for every blessing you have given me. Please watch over us and bring all our angels and archangels to protect us!

Well we got a GREAT surprise from Grandma Amy in Florida a couple of days ago. I let Nik open the box and to our surprise it was 2 hooded sweatshirts one for Nik and 1 for Monkey. and two beer holders for me and Frank (which WILL get used this weekend) In case you've been under a rock, Frank's favorite football team is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. About a week ago I went with my Mom's group to Creative Keepsake for a ceramic kids class with Nikolas and Carter, needless to say I think I have a couple of little Picasso's in the making! ; )

28 inches long and 21 pounds 9 1/2 ounces. OMG!! He's only 6 months old.

Everything looks good but the poor kid had to get 4 shots and has to go back next month for the other half of one. : (

Mr. Monkey Man is teething and needless to say Frank and I are going CRAZY! No sleep and all he does is cry! It's like the colic all over again, only this time we know what's causing it and can't fix it. I swear I go back and forth on having another baby but I'm really thinking Adoption, it's sounding so much better!?!
