Digital Scrap…

I have had this new software for some time now and with Christmas creeping up on us, I have decided to get moving on photobooks.

 

Here is a sneak peak of a page. This was from our Crystal Mtn. trip in August.

 

Carter starts School

He was very excited!  

 

Still thrilled….

 

Clearly not happy!

 

Poor Carter was a mess. He cried and and just was not his normal out going self. We talked about school all weekend and he was super excited and told everyone who asked about how fun school was. Clearly his definition of fun and mine are different.

 

Day two…. Mind you class is only 1 hour and 45 mins long. For 1 hour and 15 mins he sat like this refusing to speak or take part in class.

(Sorry picture is not the best it was taken from behind double mirror. The class has a observation room for parents. )

I did peak my head into the room and he started to cry and told me he peed. Poor kid was so nervous to ask, that he peed in his pants.   So teacher invited me into class, I changed him, gave him a high five, a kiss and left, letting him know I would be in hallway!

 

Day Three…..

We are making little progress. No TEARS and even though he refused to talk, dance, sing. He did stand when asked and brightened up when mommy was in room for Halloween Party.

 

I’ll keep you all updated on his progress! In the mean time say a little prayer for my little monkey!

Meet Karma Apple

Karma Apple our newest little bundle of love. As you know I had horrible PPD after Carter and the fear of it retuning is constant in my mind. If money was no object I would 100% consider a surrogate and maybe even adoption. So instead I have puppies to help fill the void. It seems there is a baby boom right now and after a few days of sleepless  nights from baby Karma…. I am THANKFUL, I’m not part of the baby boom.

 

Karma is another rescue, she came from a foster home and had 7 siblings. She is adjusting very well and loves her brother Remi and sister Mitzi. Right now she does love the human brothers but has pretty much sticks with Remi and her new mama! She is doing really well with potty training, very few accidents in house. She is NOT a fan of her crate but we are taking baby steps towards her loving it as much as Remi loves his. I am confident that once she is comfortable with crate potting training will be complete.

I thought I had video of the boys meeting her but of course camera wasn’t recording! However they are thrilled! Carter more than Nikolas!

Savin dollars and sense…

Remember way back, I said I wanted to start a stock pile…. Well…..

Mission Complete!! In fact, last month we lived off the stock pile and I only purchased fresh items, milk, eggs, fruit and veggies and NOTHING ELSE.

I had these items all over the house, so todays project was these shelves in the laundry room. ( I installed all by myself) Toilet paper and paper towel still remain in garage but I have more space and a entire empty shelf to keep adding to!!!

 

I LOVE saving money!!!

Happy Birthday 6th Nikolas!!

Sept 23rd, 2005 will forever be one of the greatest days of my life!

Happy Birthday to our first born!!!

We had a family dinner at Mama Vicki’s , Tootsee the Clown sure made the day so special!
