Ok so I stole the title from a friends blog, but still this is MY life and I wouldn’t change a DAMN thing!

Frankenmuth or Bust

My in-laws are known day travelers. They enjoy day days trips and visit local places in Michigan and Canada. So we decided to join them on a Frankenmuth day trip. The weather was perfect, so was the food and company.

We also took a trip on the Bavarian Belle. It’s a very smooth ride, no wake and you’re free to move around the boat. They kids enjoyed it!

O Canada

My husbands Father is Canadian and so is the entire family. So we celebrate Canada day in a American way.

While we visited Niagara Falls, I bought us all new Canada Shirts to support our Canadian Pride .

Frank’s was a giant leaf shirt, similar to the Canadian Flag.

Frank had to visit Lockport, NY and Niagara Falls, Canada for work and because we were married in Niagara Falls, Ca, I jumped at the chance to visit the locations with him. 

We enjoyed some MUCH needed alone time. We spent one night in Lockport and one night in Niagara. Frank worked most of the day Tuesday and so I was solo. Which if you know me isn’t a easy task. I had breakfast alone in the hotel restaurant. AWKARD, with families all around me. I read, slept and just enjoyed some me time.

We drove through this neat tunnel, it was very European looking.

From there we traveled to Niagara Falls, ONT. Canada

It was a great time and so relaxing.

It was my annual Girls Only Weekend. My Dad tags along too. He is our body guard, boat driver and laughs!

Nicol, Angie, Lisa, my mom and myself attended this year. Of course we had plenty of laughs and a nice enjoyable weekend at my parents cabin!
