Eye update!
We went to the eye doctor and he said the piece of rust is still there. :-(
However because Nikolas is so young he doesn't want to do surgery just yet. Most likely the body will absorb it and remove it and as long as it's not causing irritation, he doesn't want to do anything. So we will have a check-up in another month and wait and see. If it irritates the eye, then no choice but surgery. Thank you for you concerns and prayers!

Good bye- blueberry gone but never forgotten!
This is a very sad week for me. Nikolas has given up his "lovey" blueberry, which means my baby is growing up. This was 1/2 his choice and 100% daddy's choice. He has been very clingy with it, chewing on it and leaving it places. So daddy said it's time. A week and 1 day ago we washed him for the last time and hid him. Only yesterday Nikolas asked about his beloved blueberry and sang this song.

A little background on blueberry. Blueberry is a blue dog that was given to Nik for his 1st Christmas from Nana Lori. He loved him right away. We had picked a different lovey for him but he choose blue. He never left his side and was Nikolas best friend. Blue lost his bow, had 3 foot surgery's, hand surgery and was very VERY loved.

This is blue's last picture after his bath, he is now resting after 4 years of love and care. The good news is Carter has the same dog so we can say good to him in another 3 years.
We love you blueberry!!!

What a brave boy!!!
Not the best picture but... Nikolas started complaining in Niagara that his eye hurt. He would stop what he was doing and SCREAM "my eye, my eye hurts" then it would water, turn red and he'd back to normal. This would happen about every hour. Sunday it seemed better and Monday nothing. Then Tuesday it started all over again. So today I took him to see our family doctor and she said he must go immediately to a optometrist. So we took him. The doctor said he had a piece of rust (yes rust, like your thinking) on his eye, very common he said. So he numbed his eye and removed 90% of it. We have a follow up next week and if it's still there he will have to surgically remove it. So please pray that he doesn't. Nikolas was so brave. We told him the eye doctor's office was the bat cave, with lots of cool gadgets! He thought it was soooo cool!!! He sat in the chair and let the doctor do the exam with no problems, he got yellow dye drops and numbing drops and never once complained!!! I'm so proud of him!!!

Will work for vaction!
You don't think we let our kids travel with us for free???
NOPE!!! Must work for vacation!!! lol!!

Love of photography!
I have a love of nature photography and so does Nikolas, however, his is a little different than mine!!!
His is superhero's!!!
All of these are taken by Nikolas!
Niagara Day 4!
Our last day..:-(
We wanted to visit the Falls and the Whirlpool section. BAD IDEA!!!
The Whirlpool has a viewing ledge that drops straight down and if your afraid of heights (Kenny). Not the place to view!!!
Thats a jet boat that you can ride around the river on. Next visit we will do that!
The bee's were awful and of course I got stung AGAIN!!!
My going away present from the Niagara Bee's!
A stick bug! It was a bug that looked like a stick. It was so cool!
Our last family picture in Niagara Falls!!! c
The ride home was AWFUL!!! Carter cried the entire time and I was so drowsy from the benadryl, it took everything in my power to stay awake. Needless to say we made it home safe and exhausted!!! But can't wait to do it again next year! But the Pater's get to pick the location this time!!!
Niagara Day 3
Again the boys slept all night Carter was up @ 6:30 and Nikolas slept in with me til 8:30!!! We all got up to plan our trip to Marineland, however it was raining and the weather man said rain all day with a chance of thunder. (The sun came out @ 2 and not a cloud in sight) So we chilled at the hotel until about 1:00 and scratched our plans for Marineland. We decided to hit the strip ( Clifton Hill) and visit the Midway Arcade and do some shopping! Frank was crabby and needed some "me" time so he stayed back at hotel!
Nikolas Loved the Bat mobile Ride!
Carter was a little nervous of his 1st ride with Bert & Ernie.
We went to this AWESOME candy store that had all the old candy and so many new cool things! We spent $30 there but it was so worth the neat treats we got.
Ahhh, dinner time ****warning Jaclyn rant coming***** and we all wanted to go to the Beef Baron because the kids eat free. With 6 kids that's a MAJOR DEAL! So we looked inside, it was a fancy restaurant the type you normally don't take kids especially 6 of them. lol! Plus the menu was not cheap. Lots of Market Pricing!!! So we all passed! We looked at several other places but again very expensive. So we settled on a place called Kelsey's. very kid friendly family restaurant. Our party of 10 was quoted "30 minutes but most likely 20." After 45 minutes of them seating parties of 2, 4, 5, 7 . They have the fucking nerve to tell us that they are going to need to separate us. WTF!!! R u kidding??? If we wanted to eat alone we would have done that and been done eating by now. I was pissed, we all were pissed we have 6 starving kids, crying and fussing! So we left! Walked back to the Beef Baron where we were seat immediately and had the BEST DINNER I've ever had! . AND... They brought the kids meals out 1st so we could enjoy a warm meal!!! I had the peppercorn steak. Yes it was a $35.99 steak but it was worth every penny! Even the kids Pasta was fantastic!!!
Frank and Kenny enjoying a cold Beer!
So we walked off our awesome meal and enjoyed our last night in Niagara Falls!
The Skywheel at Night! It's 175 feet above the falls!
Me & Monkey Enjoying the ROAR!!!
Niagara Day 2
So the kids slept all night long but were up at 7:30and ready to go. So we got up and showered and gave the kids baths, had breakfast and still the Pater's were sleeping... DAMN THEM. lol! While we waited Carter napped and Frank & Nikolas went on an adventure to the Sky Wheel and Dave and Buster's!
So the weather looked like it was going to rain so we cancelled our plans to Marineland . At $40 per Adult and $20 per child not a risk any of us wanted to take. So we hit up Louis Tussuad Wax Museum. Some "stars" looked great! While others we had to read the name tag to guess it was Madonna... Over all was a great stop on day two!
We also visited Ripley's believe it or not! Which is loaded it tons of useless facts. However, it is a really neat place to see and you could spend hours in there reading and looking at everything. Later we visited the falls at night which is really neat, they light them up with a rainbow of colors. I wish I had pictures but my battery died, so I didn't get any. :-(.
