The Ester Bunny

Call me what you want, but we don't believe in the Easter Bunny, Santa yes but Easter bunny NO. We have decided to teach our kids the true meaning of Easter JESUS and to keep "Hallmark" out of this one. So needless to say Nikolas has never been to see the Easter Bunny, however this year we made an exception. So for Carter's birthday we went to see the BIG furry guy!

Carter's Birthday Party!

We celebrated Carter's 1st birthday. As you might recall I wanted a monkey/ jungle theme, but daddy wanted Sesame street. He won. :-( It was cute anyway and Carter was a really good boy and loves his new toys and clothes.

Oh Canada!

We visited the Canadian side of the family tonight for Frank's Aunt's 60th Birthday. The night started out not to good and ended even worse. Carter hates the car and cried the entire 20 minutes there, and the 30 minutes waiting in customs. Then we got there and all was well everyone was lovin on my boys, THEN... Carter got sick all over Aunt Lisa, he continued to be sick, again and again and again. I didn't want to rush out of there cause I knew he'd be sick in the car so I stayed in the halls, lobby with him for about an hour then we left. POOR kid, I think it was just too much for him, the music, talking and being passed around like a joint at a college party. LMAO!!! THANKFULLY, was fine on the way home and is sleeping peacefully in his crib. I just hope he's OK for his party next weekend!

St. Patricks' Day

We joined our mom's group for dinner out with the kids on St. Patricks day. I had a great time and did the kids! We were entertained by a bag piper and dancer. FUn for all, THANKS Suzy for the idea!

Were still painting.

So the living room is painted and its not the best color, for me. But it will due, maybe in the fall I'll re-paint. I mean its ok but its beige not taupe. SO its kind of blahhh... I noticed that I have been out of the decorating loop for so long that I kind of forgot what goes with what. I also realized how much I really do LOVE textures and colors. Maybe I should put that degree to use? ah someday! Anyway, pictures are not on walls yet so once they are I'll post pictures. Plus I want to get a few new accessories.

Whats next the kitchen. I plan on tiling a back splash ( DIY project). I'm excited I've wanted to try tiling and heres my chance. Wish me luck!!

Happy Birthday my little Nana & Uncle GR!

March 8th, 2009 would have been my Nana's 70th birthday. I miss you! And today is my Uncle's 45th. So I had the family over for chicken parm and pasta, and of course CAKE!!
