Speaking of School days...

Nikolas 2nd report came and we are SO proud of him.

You can read it but down below it says, "Nik is making nice progress in so many areas. He is slowing gaining in self-confidence and is really trying to spontaneously answer questions at circle time! "

School days, Schools days...

dear o'l golden rule days...

So I'm officially a college student, again! I decided to return to school for Pastry Arts (no surprise there). I only have one class right now and it's a Sanitation Class, so I can become ServSafe Certified. I tried to register for two classes but I was put on wait list and this was the only one I could get in. It feels good to have my mind learning again and I'm really excited as to what might come of this... Time will tell!
Well I'll blog later, have to go do some homework!

So I had my 1st Pure Romance Party. It was lots of fun and very informative...

Going Green, like everyone else.

So awhile back a friend of mine had a post about Going Green. I really like the idea and kept saying ok, I need to go green. Well yesterday I started. I went shopping and took 3 bags with me. I was so proud of myself and yes Nicol's right you can put so much stuff in the bags. I have also started to look at the labels and see where my food's coming from to help with my carbon footprint.

I have already started to switch some light bulbs but I have issues with florescent light, (studies have show they don't help with depression). So I still haven't switched all of them.
So start a little each day and by the end of the year you'll have a green life!

Henry Ford, here we come... Almost!

Today was supposed to be an adventure day with the Pater's (our neighbors) and the moms group we belong to. We had planned on going to the Henry Ford for a Polar Express Train exhibit. We got up, got ready. Loaded 4 cars seats and two double strollers in the van, set the gps and were off.
THEN... Poor Cameron got car stick 3 times in the back of the van. lol. And poor Nikolas had to sit next to it all the way back home.
So after we cleaned Cameron up, the car up and the car seat up, we decided to still have an adventure and when to the CMPL! and McDonald's for lunch. The kids had a great time and didn't even notice we didn't go where we were supposed too.

Oh... Draydel, Draydel, Draydel!

So about a week ago I get a small package in the mail and I have no idea who its from... I'm a little hesitant to open it but who can resist a package and to my SURPRISE it was draydel making kit from my best Jewish pal, Jew Jew bee!

I LOVE it and made 6 draydels that day. Now if you haven't ever played or even know what a draydel is. You live in a box and need to experience life.

Now that the hustle and bustle of the holidays are over, its time to start planning my little Monkey Mans 1st birthday. OMG!!!!!!! So we are of course going with the monkey theme. So.... if you see ANY MONKEY party items PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!! TIA!

Happy Birthday to mommy!

Yesterday (Jan. 5th) was my 29th birthday. It was anything but a happy day. I'm still sick with who knows what this is? Semco came a knocking and our gas was shut off for about an hour or so. Thank God it didn't effect our inside temp. My dad called. I missed the call but was SHOCKED to her his voice as I haven't heared it in, Oh I don't know 9 months or so? Mixed feelings about that one. Then Frank finally convinced me to leave the house and eat. So I took a shower put fresh pj's on and headed out to the new Sonic on grosebeck and to our surprise it was an HOUR and a HALF wait. H E L L to the NO! Would I ever wait that long for food, let alone FAST FOOD. So we ended up wit a carry out from O'Charley's (which I love ) but I only ate a few bites and headed back to bed.

As for the gifts, Frank got me A DAY AT THE SPA!!!!!!!!!!! Facial and Massage. (Platinum Spa) LOVE IT!!!! Nikolas bought me a dozen balloons 6 pink and 6 purple, he also got me a plate. Which I forgot to eat off of last night. oops!

The rest of the celebrations will come this weekend when I'm feeling better.

Happy New Year

Frank and I again decided to stay home this year. So I volunteered to watch the Pater kids. We had a great time! Frank Carter (9months) and Kylie (19 months) were sleeping well before midnight, but Nikolas (3) , Cameron (3) , Brandon (10) , Ashely (9) and myself were up till 2 AM!!!!

I did give out some new names (cause I love a good nickname)

Brandon is Don Juan

Ashley is Leah

Cameron is Ronnie

Kylie is Mimi

and the kids named me Smithy.

Reindeer Pee!

I completely forgot to post this...

The Friday before Christmas we got hit with a HUGE snowstorm. Nikolas had his 1st official snow day. So, as most of you know I LOVE the snow and I really LOVE playing in it so Nikolas and I got geared up, marched across the street and checked to see if Brandon and Cameron could play and went on an adventure to find reindeer pee. And to my surprise we found it!

We think these are the reindeer, that left the pee but were not sure??? What do you think?
